Champagne (No.35)

PS35 Champagne is a bulk aromatic the Peter Stokkebye house prepared for its 110th anniversary. The base is built from selected Virginias and Mexican Burley; sweet black Cavendish in two distinct cuts is added on top. A light essence recalling French forest fruits is used as flavoring, and the blend is cut into a medium-loose ribbon.

The profile is a measured sweetness; the flavoring comes forward but is kept at a level that doesn't overwhelm the leaf's own taste. Nicotine is low and the smoke is mild.
