Luxury Bullseye Flake (No. 403)

Luxury Bullseye Flake is made by spicing ripe Virginias with Louisiana Perique, pressing them into thin layers, and then wrapping them tightly around a pressed black Cavendish rod. When cut into medallion rounds, a dark core appears in the center surrounded by light-colored blend, which is where the name comes from. According to brand records, it replaced Luxury Curly Cut in the line in 2006.

On the palate, Virginia's natural sweetness is balanced by Perique's nose-tickling peppery sharpness, while the Cavendish at the center smooths the transitions.
