Luxury Twist Flake (No. 402)

Luxury Twist Flake is a pure Virginia blend; the leaf reportedly comes from fields in Zimbabwe and the southeastern United States. The leaves are layered with a light casing and twisted like a rope, then this twisted form is pressed tightly in a mold and sliced. The resulting spiral-patterned slices are packed rubbed out.

On the palate, Virginia's natural sweetness, recalling bread and dried fruit, leads; flavoring is not perceptible. The body is medium and the burn even. It suits smokers who love pure Virginia taste and don't mind working with slices.
