Early Morning Pipe

Early Morning Pipe is a lightly toasted, ribbon-cut English blend built by adding Oriental tobaccos and Cyprus Latakia to light and red Virginia leaf. As its name suggests, it is designed for the first pipe of the day; the Latakia proportion is kept low enough not to tire the palate. The blend comes from the Dunhill catalog and, after Dunhill ceased production, has been continued under the Peterson name with its original recipe.

On the palate, Virginia's sugar and the Oriental's earthy, lightly spicy side stay in balance; the smoke merely provides a frame. Nicotine strength is between light and medium. It suits smokers wanting to get to know English blends and those seeking a smoky tobacco that stays light through the day.
