Flake

Flake is an unflavored Virginia blend obtained by pressing and slicing selected lemon and bronze Virginia leaf. The blend comes from the Dunhill catalog; after Dunhill stopped producing pipe tobacco, Peterson continued making it with the recipe and tin artwork preserved.

Its sweetness is not pushed forward, giving it a measured Virginia character; the smoke proceeds slowly and cool, with a low tendency to bite. Nicotine strength is medium. It suits smokers who love unflavored Virginia flakes, who age tobacco in the tin over long periods, and who like tracking flavor through a single leaf type.
