Summertime 2020

Summertime 2020 is the 2020 entry in Peterson's limited-production series prepared for the summer season. The blend is built from a balanced combination of lightly pressed black Cavendish with hand-rubbed Virginia and Burley leaf; a measured blackcurrant-and-apple flavoring is applied on top. The brand is Irish in origin, while tobacco production is carried out in Germany.

The smoke is light-bodied, sweet-leaning, and low in nicotine; Burley dries and levels out the blend while Cavendish adds roundness and Virginia supplies natural sugar. The fruit flavoring is noticeable but doesn't overwhelm the tobacco's own taste. It suits smokers seeking a light aromatic with a tart fruit note for all-day smoking. As a limited production, it was not remade once the season passed.
