Danish Mixture

Danish Mixture is one of the house blends sold under its own name by Pfeifen Huber, a house operating in Munich since 1863. A loose-cut mixture, the tobacco builds broken Virginia and bright Virginia leaf on a base of black Cavendish; on the flavoring side there is a measured touch of whiskey, a faint plum sweetness, and a thin veil of vanilla. As the name suggests, it stays true to the classic Danish approach to aromatics.

The blend is light in nicotine and mildly sweet; because flavoring intensity is kept low, the tobacco's own taste isn't masked and the smoke stays dry. Cavendish gives the body depth and sweetness while Virginia lightens the blend.
