Diablo Nero

Diablo Nero is one of the best-known aromatics among the Munich house Pfeifen Huber's house blends, sold in a 100 gram tin as well as a larger 400 gram package. The body of the loose-cut blend is built from Virginia, black Cavendish, and Burley leaf; on top is applied a pronounced flavoring built from a trio of chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnut.

Its character is dark and sweet but light in nicotine: the topping comes forward while the tobacco's earthy Burley base plays a balancing role behind it. The smoke is dense and creamy, with low bite. It suits those seeking a straightforwardly sweet aromatic, particularly for evening smokes and the cold season; it falls outside the interest of those seeking an unflavored blend.
