Georg der Erste

Georg der Erste is one of Pfeifen Huber's aromatic house blends, its name a reference to the founder. The loose-cut blend is built on the contrast between light, orange-toned Virginia leaf and dark Virginia, joined by nougat-leaning Burley and black Cavendish. On the flavoring side there is a pronounced but not sharp citrus-and-almond-cream note.

The blend is light in nicotine, intensely aromatic, and has a fresh character; Virginia's sugar meets the citrus topping while Burley adds fullness to the body. The smoke is soft and sweet. It suits smokers who like sweet aromatics but want a fruity, fresh direction rather than the classic vanilla-and-chocolate axis.
