Louisiana Flake

Louisiana Flake is an unflavored Virginia-Perique blend produced under the Pfeifen Huber name, presented as pressed and leaf-cut flake; it is reportedly produced by Kohlhase und Kopp. The blend joins a Virginia base with Perique and dark-fired Kentucky. Perique is a heavy, spicy condiment tobacco grown only in a small area of the St. James district of Louisiana, which is also where the blend's name comes from.

On the palate Virginia's sweetness leads, Perique layers a fine peppery spice on top, and dark-fired Kentucky leaves a woody depth in the background.
