Anno MMXVI (Cosmopolitan Mixture)

Anno MMXVI is Planta's 2016 limited edition, inspired by the Cosmopolitan cocktail it's named after. A body of black Cavendish, traditionally prepared Virginia leaf, and nutty Burley is given an intense casing carrying ripe cranberry, a touch of lemon, and a sweet-herbal Cointreau note.

For an aromatic mixture, nicotine stays medium, while the casing is quite pronounced. It suits smokers looking for fruity-liqueur, full-bodied aromatics and collectors of annual editions. It came in 100-gram decorative tins and, being a limited edition, didn't enter the ongoing catalogue.
