Empire - Virginia

This member of the Empire line was previously sold under the name Aromatic Flake before taking the name Virginia. Sun-ripened Virginia leaf and black Cavendish are pressed to form a soft, sweet body, with a measured fruit casing applied on top.

It falls into the Danish-style aromatic flake class; casing intensity, strength, and room note all stay at a medium level. It suits smokers looking to get to know flake cuts who haven't yet moved to heavy Latakia-based mixtures. It was sold in a 50-gram tin.
