Professional is recorded as the first in-house blend Kohlhase & Kopp released under the Reiner line. Its base of Virginia, Burley, and black Cavendish leaf is rested for weeks in whisky casks, a stage during which the tobacco naturally picks up oak and whisky notes. Fresh Virginia is then added and a tropical-fruit-and-nut casing is applied on top.
The ribbon cut makes packing and burning easy. In the smoke, nicotine stays low-to-medium while the flavor balances the sweetness from the casing against the tobacco's own tart-sweet structure. It suits fans of flavored blends who want a more layered profile from cask resting rather than a one-dimensional sugary casing.
