Maduro

Maduro is a blend built on combining heat-pressed dark Virginia leaves with Perique; Burley and black Cavendish also enter the content. A light top note evoking naval rum is applied. Being ribbon cut eases packing and gives an even burn.

The dark pressed Virginia gives the blend a toasted, sweet, bready foundation; Perique adds a measured spice and dark-fruit layer on top of this. The rum casing stays at an intensity that does not cover the tobacco taste. Nicotine is low. Suited to smokers seeking a dark, sweet Virginia-Perique standing somewhere between cased and unflavored.
