Pure Caribe

Pure Caribe is a single-component, ribbon-cut product made entirely of Caribbean-origin cigar leaf. It belongs to Robert McConnell's line of pure components meant for blending; like Pure Virginia, Pure Perique, and Pure Latakia, it is designed either to reinforce existing blends or for home blenders building their own mixtures. No flavoring is applied, letting the leaf's own taste come through.

Smoked on its own, it is reported to give a mild cigar taste, a subtle sweetness, and tones reminiscent of baker's chocolate. It suits smokers experimenting with blending who want to add body and earthy depth to their mix using cigar leaf.
