Pure Virginia

Pure Virginia is a single-component, ribbon-cut product made entirely of Virginia leaf. It is the plainest member of Robert McConnell's pure component line, prepared without flavoring to preserve the leaf's natural taste. Its purpose is to support existing blends or to serve home blenders building their own mixtures.

Smoked alone, its strength and flavor intensity stay low, which makes it well suited for use as a base or mellowing component in a blend. It is a starter component for smokers new to blending who want to understand Virginia's role within a mixture.
