Ripe Honeydew

Ripe Honeydew is made by applying a light honey casing over a plain Virginia blend, the aim being to support the leaf's own natural sugar. The cut is described as broken flake, though it is reported to come out of the tin closer to a ribbon or fine-cut texture. The tin note carries lemongrass and dry-hay associations.

The honey addition is not overpowering; the blend reads more as a lightly sweetened Virginia than a true aromatic. It is reported to want a loose pack and occasional relighting. It suits smokers who don't want heavy aromatic intensity but do want a subtle sweetness added to a straight Virginia.
