St. James Park

St. James Park is a ribbon-cut blend from Robert McConnell's English-style line. Golden Virginia leaf is combined with smoky Latakia; Oriental tobacco adds a spicy layer while black Cavendish builds the sweet, mellow side of the mixture. The result is a medium-bodied, layered taste that is neither purely smoky nor purely sweet. The cut lights quickly when dry and burns evenly in medium-sized bowls.

The brand was founded in Belfast in 1848; production today is carried out by the German blender Kohlhase & Kopp, though the brand identity remains Irish. With nicotine and flavor intensity both staying medium, it serves as an entry point for those new to Latakia blends and as an all-day option for experienced smokers.
