Brown Rope No. 4 Rum

Brown Rope No. 4 Rum is the rum-cased version of Samuel Gawith's thick rope series. Virginia and burley leaf are twisted into rope and matured; a rum-based casing is applied during production. The product is sold in wheel form; the smoker cuts and crumbles a slice.

The rum casing leaves a sweet background but does not cover the tobacco's dark, earthy taste; nicotine load is high. It requires slow smoking and thorough drying. Suited to smokers seeking the naval-tradition rope cut together with rummy sweetness.
