Brown Rope No. 4 Whiskey is the whiskey-cased version of Samuel Gawith's thick rope series. Virginia-and-burley-based leaf is twisted into rope, and a whiskey-based casing is applied during aging. It is sold in wheel form; slice and crumble to use.

The casing leaves a light grain-and-oak tone, with the tobacco's dark body leading; nicotine load is high. Suited to smokers accustomed to rope preparation and strong smoke.
