Cannon Plug

Cannon Plug is a plug produced by pressing and aging Virginia leaves; a traditional casing called honeydew is applied on top. According to records it is among the brand's oldest still-produced blends. Thin slices are cut from the tightly pressed plug and rubbed for packing.

When the plug is opened, the casing scent comes forward with citrus and woody echoes, with the Virginia leaf's own scent beneath. The smoke is cool and sweet; the casing lingers long on the palate. Suited to those who enjoy working with a pressed presentation and seek a notably cased but medium-bodied tobacco.
