Sam's Flake

Sam's Flake is Samuel Gawith's pressed slice tobacco combining Virginia with Oriental (Turkish) leaf. It carries no casing. Like the brand's other flakes, it is moist when tinned; slices can be packed intact or lightly broken, and burning noticeably eases when used closer to dry. It is on record that flavors settle a few days after the tin is opened.
