Skiff Mixture is one of Samuel Gawith's ribbon-cut English blends. Its composition holds flame-cured Virginia, Turkish-origin Oriental leaf, and Latakia; the Oriental leaf forms the blend's center of gravity. Its name comes from "skiff," meaning a small one-person boat.

On the smoke, the Oriental leaf's dry, spicy, lightly sour line comes forward; Latakia persists throughout the bowl but stays in the background and does not weigh the blend down.
