Sweet Black Cavendish

Sweet Black Cavendish is a dark cavendish product obtained by pressing the leaf into a cake, heating it, and letting it ferment. The sweetness in the name comes both from the process concentrating the sugars and from a light added sweetening; still, it carries no pronounced fruit or vanilla aroma.

Nicotine level is very low, the smoke cool and mild. Smoked alone its profile stays plain; its main function is to add volume and sweetness to another blend. In this respect it sits on the same shelf as Pure Black Cavendish, differing only in that the sweetness is a touch more forward. Suited to smokers wanting to soften a blend they find harsh, or building their own aromatic blend.
