Escudo Navy De Luxe

Escudo Navy De Luxe is one of the best-known coin-cut Virginia-perique blends. Virginia leaves are rolled together with perique into a rope and aged, then sliced into thin coins; hence the cut is also called bullseye or spun cut. No casing is applied. Long produced under the A&C Petersen name, it is now continued under the Scandinavian Tobacco Group umbrella.

On the smoke, virginia's full, sweet taste leads by a few steps; perique builds a sharp, black-pepper-like layer in the background. Moisture is reasonable, the burn even and cool. Suited to smokers seeking a medium-strength, unflavored, pure virginia-perique structure.
