John Bull Fragrant English

John Bull is a pipe-tobacco name rooted in England; its blends are produced today at Scandinavian Tobacco Group's Lane facilities in the US. Fragrant English is the line's softened Latakia version.

Its composition holds Cyprus latakia, Virginia, burley, and a small amount of black cavendish; a measured top note is applied. The addition of burley and cavendish pulls the blend away from a classic English mixture toward an American-English style: there is smoke, but alongside it sits a round, lightly sweet foundation. Suited to smokers who want Latakia but find a fully dry English blend too much.
