Mick McQuaid is an Irish brand that Dundalk's P. J. Carroll firm released in 1889, inspired by the pipe-smoking hero of William Francis Lynam's folk tales; no sufficient primary source describing this plug-format version's blend composition could be found. According to records the brand passed through Carreras/Rothmans and British American Tobacco before moving to Orlik in 2007, then to Scandinavian Tobacco Group, and was discontinued in 2016.
