Sungold

Sungold is an aromatic Danish blend in Scandinavian Tobacco Group's Skandinavik series. It is formed by combining two separate bright Virginia types with black cavendish; most of the sweetness comes from the cavendish's sugared structure and a vanilla-direction casing. The blend moved from its former name, "Vanilla," to its current name after European Union regulations restricting the use of flavor names on tobacco packaging.

The smoke is light and mild, nicotine load is low; with a low risk of biting the tongue, it is a structure pipe newcomers can use comfortably. The dried ribbon cut lights quickly, and since tin moisture is generally high, a short airing burn before packing is usual.
