Van Dyck Mixture

Van Dyck Mixture is a cavendish blend produced by Scandinavian Tobacco Group and built following classic Dutch blending tradition. Its body is formed by Virginia and burley leaves; these leaves are sweetened and softened through the cavendish process. As is typical of Dutch-style blends, the casing is not heavy — most of the sweetness comes from the leaves' own sugars and the process.

The smoke is medium-bodied; due to the burley share, nicotine and fullness sit above the light Danish-style aromatics. Suited to smokers who stay away from intensely flavored tobaccos yet still want a sweet foundation, and to those curious about traditional Dutch-style blends. According to records, the blend has limited distribution in the European market.
