Mississippi River Special Reserve Flake

Mississippi River Special Reserve Flake is the version presenting Seattle Pipe Club's Mississippi River recipe in flake cut and enriched with matured accent tobaccos. Whole-leaf virginias with a sour character are layered and pressed; latakia, matured Turkish tobacco, and genuine St. James perique are then added and the blend is pressed again and sliced into thin leaves.

St. James leaf adds a fruity spice, while sun-cured mature tobaccos add a peppery nuance; latakia builds the blend's smoky backbone. The flake cut both keeps preparation orderly and suits long aging. Suited to smokers accustomed to full-bodied English mixtures and flake preparation.
