Potlatch

Potlatch is a broad-composition Balkan record in which Seattle Pipe Club brings together seven separate leaves. The blend includes black cavendish, selected burley, Cyprus Latakia, bright Virginia leaves, Turkish and other Orientals, and Louisiana Perique. The burley share gives the body a toasted, nutty foundation, while the cavendish sweetness balances Latakia's smoke.

It takes its name from the Potlatch ceremony, a feast of abundance among Pacific Northwest indigenous peoples; the name nods to the leaf diversity within the blend. Latakia is noticeable but not dominant on its own, so the blend offers a layered, full structure. Suited to smokers who want to read the Balkan class together with the earthy foundation burley provides.
