Wild Man

Wild Man is Seattle Pipe Club's medium-bodied English blend. It is built from Cyprus Latakia, Oriental leaf, and sweet Virginias; it is easy to prepare since it comes pressed and hand-crumbled into a cake. The blend was named by Joe Lankford as a nod to the Bigfoot legend of the Pacific Northwest.

On the smoke, Latakia's smoke is noticeable but not dominant; the spicy-sour tone of the Oriental leaves and the sweetness of the Virginia soften the blend. Its aroma resembles incense while the taste stays smooth, with nicotine in the light-to-medium range. Suited to those new to English blends and to those seeking a moderately smoky tobacco they can smoke throughout the day.
