Commodore Flake

Commodore Flake is a flake blend made by pressing full-bodied, smoky Latakia with Kentucky leaf and a pinch of black cavendish. Latakia sets the blend's main color; the fire-cured Kentucky adds an earthy depth to the body and a notable nicotine share. The cavendish ratio is low and serves only to soften the edge.

The pressed structure concentrates the flavor and the burn character varies with how the slices are crumbled. The smoke stays dry, smoky, and faintly salty throughout the bowl; no additives are used.
