London Blend

London Blend is the Sillem's brand's full-bodied English mixture. The blend combines Latakia, Virginia, black cavendish, Kentucky, and Perique. Latakia gives the smoky main color while Virginia sets a sweet foundation; fire-cured Kentucky raises the body and nicotine share, Perique opens a plum-and-pepper-like spice, and black cavendish rounds off the sharp edges.

The five-leaf structure makes the blend more layered than classic two- or three-component English mixtures; smoky, earthy, and spicy layers come forward in turn across the smoke. No additives are used. Suited to smokers accustomed to Latakia who want a high-body, complex English blend.
