Syrian Limited

Syrian Limited is an English-style mixture tinned in limited quantity for Smokers' Haven and distributed at the Chicago pipe show. Records indicate the tins were numbered, production was limited to roughly six hundred seventy tins, and tinning was done in McClelland's familiar round containers.

Virginia leaves form the blend's body; Syrian latakia is used at a ratio not exceeding one-tenth of the total, so the smoky taste remains an accompanying element rather than the defining one. It's noted to contain no oriental leaf. A structure aimed at smokers who don't seek the heavy end of latakia mixtures but want a measuredly smoky Virginia character.
