Maple Leaf

Maple Leaf is Sterling Tobacco Company's maple-syrup-flavored blend. Per the maker's description, the base is a plain mixture built directly from burley leaf; the flavoring is added on top of this base.

The burley-forward structure gives the blend a dry, walnut-like body and, due to low sugar content, a cool burn; the maple note is felt more as scent than sweetness on the palate. Nicotine is medium. Suited to smokers avoiding heavily syrupy aromatics but seeking a lightly flavored burley.
