Appalachian Trail

Appalachian Trail is an aromatic blend from Sutliff's long-running Private Stock line. Per the maker's description, its base rests on Virginia leaves and the composition includes perique; a rum-and-peach-direction flavoring is applied on top. As with the rest of the line, it's presented ribbon cut and sold in bulk.

The blend is described as a medium-intensity aromatic where the topping is pronounced in scent and taste, while the Virginia sweetness and perique's fruity sharpness beneath it are still perceptible. Nicotine stays light. Suited to smokers who smoke aromatics but don't want to stick solely to the vanilla-cherry axis, and who want to try fruit and liquor notes alongside perique. Like most of Sutliff's Private Stock line, this blend has been discontinued.
