April Dawn

April Dawn is a cherry-flavored blend that appeared in Sutliff's Private Stock line. Cherry scent is noticeable when the tin is opened; on the palate, the topping recedes and the tobacco's own taste comes forward. Records note it's ribbon cut with a relatively dry preparation.

It's stated to give a medium-intensity flavor, burn evenly, and stay light in nicotine. Suited to smokers who enjoy cherry aromatics but don't want a heavy syrupy topping on the palate. It went out of production with the scaling back of Sutliff's Private Stock line.
