Archduke Ferdinand, part of Sutliff's Private Stock line, is described as a light-to-medium-strength aromatic. Named after Austro-Hungarian history, the blend is one of the line's Central European-themed names. It's ribbon cut and prepared for bulk sale.

Records indicate a layered structure was aimed for rather than a one-dimensional sweetness; cavendish sweetness is set over a Virginia and burley base. Nicotine level is low. Suited to smokers who smoke aromatics but want a measured topping. The blend is no longer in production.
