Blacksburg

Blacksburg is a Sutliff aromatic that appears entirely black, made from cavendish and burley leaves. It takes its name from the town of Blacksburg in Virginia; since the brand is based in Richmond, the naming carries a local reference. Light notes of fig, prune, and rum are used as the topping.

The blend's defining trait is its dryness: despite belonging to the aromatic category, moisture and sugar load are kept low, which is why it's referred to as the "driest aromatic." Its sweetness is measured, nicotine is light; burley adds an earthy body.
