Breckinridge

Breckinridge, part of Sutliff's Private Stock line, is an unflavored burley blend. It consists of plug-cut Kentucky burley leaves; since no topping is applied, the flavor rests on the leaf's own nutty, bread-crust, and light cocoa tones. It's described as a slow, cool-burning mixture whose flavor stays balanced from the first third of the bowl to the last.

It takes its name from John Breckinridge, who served as U.S. Attorney General under Thomas Jefferson and was also involved in tobacco farming. Suited to smokers who steer clear of flavored blends and want a straightforward tobacco taste, one they can smoke at any hour of the day.
