Burley J4

J4 Burley is a semi-aromatic blend where a light vanilla topping is applied to a ribbon-cut combination of burley and fire-cured Kentucky leaf. The casing softens burley's harshness; the topping is kept measured enough not to mask the leaf's own flavor.

A blend long present in Sutliff's bulk line, records indicate it was also originally used as blending material and as a base tobacco packaged by retailers under their own names. Suited to those seeking a low-nicotine, lightly sweet burley for all-day smoking.
