Cringle Flake is the first entry in the holiday-season series Sutliff launched in 2019, produced in limited quantity. It consists solely of red Virginia leaves, pressed and cut into flake. The tin includes space for a gift tag.
On the palate, tart dark fruit, light citrus, bread, and sugared cooked-fruit tones stand out, rounded out by a woody, earthy base. Body and flavor are medium. Designed for smokers who enjoy unflavored Virginia flakes and want a holiday tin suited to aging. Being a limited edition, it is not in current production.
