Crumble Kake Limited Edition No. 2

The second limited edition in the Crumble Kake series brings together bright Virginias from two continents and dark fire-cured Kentucky leaf. The blend is heat-pressed, rolled, and rested for roughly thirty days in an aged oak cognac barrel, then cut into an easy-to-prepare crumbly cake form.

Dark fire-cured Kentucky is the main component, giving earth, wood, spice, and a light smokiness; bright Virginia adds citrus acidity, herb, and bready sweetness. The cognac resting leaves a sugary, lightly spiced fruit layer. Body and nicotine are above average. Records indicate it was released as a run of four thousand tins and is not an ongoing product.
