Heine's Blend

Heine's Blend is a burley blend whose origin predates Sutliff and which, according to records, was acquired by Sutliff Tobacco Company in 1963 and added alongside Mixture 79. The cube cut consists of light and dark burley pieces, with bright yellow Virginia flecks visible among them. A light citrus-fruit topping is applied on top.

The burley side carries notes of cocoa, molasses, wood, bread, and earth along with a distinct nuttiness; the topping adds a measured, pineapple-like sweetness and tang. The cube cut burns slow and cool. A record for those seeking a body-forward American classic that sits between aromatic and unflavored burley.
