Highlander 2012

Highlander is a ribbon-cut blend Sutliff classifies as a Scottish mixture. Its composition of Virginia, burley, and cavendish leaves relies on a measured processing approach that lets the leaves' own sweetness come through rather than a heavy sauce; records indicate it's a well-balanced, easy-packing tobacco moisture-wise. The "2012" designation was used to distinguish that year's production run.

In character it offers a medium-light fullness, balanced by burley's nutty, earthy side, Virginia's tangy sweetness, and cavendish's smoothing effect.
