Paradoxical

Paradoxical arrived in the summer of 2023 as the closing entry in the Birds of a Feather line bearing Per Georg Jensen's signature. Red and stoved Virginia are added to a burley-forward base, along with rustica, the line's signature leaf. It is offered pressed into plug form, giving the smoker the option to slice, rub out, or fold it directly for packing.

On the taste, a nutty, cocoa-leaning base from the burley is balanced by a measured sweetness from the Virginia leaves; the rustica brings a spicy, earthy sharpness and a pronounced nicotine load. It is a blend prepared for experienced smokers looking for an unflavored, full-bodied smoke.
