Pipe Force is a limited Signature Series the Danish blender Per Georg Jensen prepared for Sutliff; each episode was released in sequence as a separate blend. The first episode is a Latakia-forward English mixture: fire-cured leaf, stoved Rustica, naturally sweet top-grade Virginias, and Katerini — the line's only Oriental — are brought together.
The use of Rustica noticeably raises the blend's nicotine load and its earthy, floral spice. It is aimed at experienced smokers used to unflavored, smoke- and spice-forward strong English mixtures; being a limited production, it left the catalog some time after release.
