Pipe Force Episode III

The third episode of the Pipe Force series is a Virginia-forward mixture built on fire-cured leaf rather than Latakia. Red Virginia and dark fire-cured Kentucky are combined with stoved leaves; the Katerini leaf used throughout the series appears here as well.

Stoving caramelizes the Virginia's sugar, carrying the blend toward a dark, bready sweetness; the Kentucky adds a woody saltiness and nicotine. It is aimed at smokers who enjoy dark, Latakia-free Virginia blends with a full-bodied smoke. It is a limited production.
