Silver Quarter is the blend Sutliff prepared for its 175th anniversary, billed as the brand's first coin-cut product. Its name references, according to records, the company's founding period in San Francisco and the legacy of the two brothers who popularized the pipe in that city. The outer wrap is made of African-origin Virginia leaf, with a core of perique and black cavendish at the center of the coin.

The Virginia wrap carries citrus tartness, bread, grass, floral, and woody tones; the perique in the core adds plum and fig sweetness alongside a pronounced spice and earthy layer, while the black cavendish gives a creamy sweetness. It burns cool and dry, with strength and taste intensity a notch above medium.
